[audio]Ode to Gravity: Word-Tape works of Liam O'Gallagher
A program of word art by San Francisco intermedia artist Liam O'Gallagher. OGallagher, for many years a painter, studied with Hans Hoffmann. In the late 1960s he became very active as a leader in the Bay Area of activities in the field of event art. His book of concrete poetry, “Planet Noise”, was published by Nova Broadcast Press. In this program OGallagher introduces sound poems produced especially for this original KPFA broadcast.
